Cookies and local storage

The current site does not use advertising cookies. It may use browser session storage for a short-lived first-party visit identifier.

What is used now

Only after you choose “Allow analytics”, a random identifier is stored in sessionStorage so page visits within one browser session can be counted together. The analytics choice itself is stored in localStorage so the site remembers whether you allowed or declined. Neither value follows you across other websites; the session identifier normally disappears when the browser session ends.

Essential platform storage

Our hosting or security provider may use strictly necessary storage to deliver the site, prevent abuse or protect forms. This storage is not used by AI Love Food to create an advertising profile.

If advertising is introduced

Advertising or consent services can require cookies or similar technology. We will identify those services, explain their purposes and provide required consent controls before enabling them. Declining non-essential storage must not prevent access to recipes.

Managing storage

You can remove site data through browser settings. Declining analytics prevents the page-view request. Clearing site storage resets both the choice and any session identifier, and recipe pages continue to work. See the privacy policy for the data attached to first-party measurement.
