Privacy

Privacy in plain language

We collect the minimum information needed to understand whether the site works and to answer messages. We do not sell personal information.

First-party site measurement

If you choose “Allow analytics”, our first-party analytics endpoint receives the site host, page path, page title, same-site referring page, browser language, screen width, device class and a random visit identifier kept in your browser’s session storage. The hosting platform can provide a coarse country code. The analytics payload does not include your name, email address or the raw network address.

We use this information to find broken pages, understand which recipe routes are useful and improve navigation. The session identifier ends with the browser session and is not an advertising profile. No analytics request is sent before that choice.

Contact requests

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, selected topic, message, page URL and optional information you provide. A one-way hashed client key derived from the network address is used for abuse prevention; our application does not store the raw address with the message. Contact details are used only to review and respond to the request.

Hosting and service providers

Hosting, security, analytics storage and contact processing providers handle data only to operate these functions. Retention is limited to site reliability, abuse prevention, trend analysis and responding to requests.

Advertising and consent

The current recipe site does not run personalized advertising. Before any advertising or consent platform is activated, this policy and the cookie and local storage policy will identify it and explain available choices. We do not claim AdSense approval unless an actual review has occurred.

Your choices

You can clear session storage by closing the browser session. To ask about, correct or delete information sent through the contact form, use the contact page and choose “Privacy request”. Legal rights vary by location; we will verify and handle valid requests accordingly.
